Welcome to Bochord House

Bochord House is the real world home of Black Riders, the Butterflies & Aliens Library North, and in-person Books & Bricks Nights.

For now, this page is just a placeholder for the Bochord House domains. Perhaps one day there will be more.

 
 

We want to recognize and acknowledge the land upon which we reside and work, known to some as ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan) and also as Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, land that is the traditional and contemporary home for the people of many First Nations including the nêhiyaw (Nay-hee-yow) / Cree, Dene (Deh-neyh), Anishinaabe (Ah-nish-in-ah-bay) / Saulteaux (So-toe), Nakota Isga (Na-koh-tah ee-ska) / Nakota Sioux (Na-koh-tah sue), Niitsitapi (Nit-si-tahp-ee) / Blackfoot, Inuit, and Métis peoples, land that we recognise as being on Treaty 6 Territory and part of the Fort Edmonton and Edmonton Whitemud Métis Districts within the Métis Nation homeland.
