Welcome to Bochord House

Bochord House is the real world home of Black Riders, the Butterflies & Aliens Library North, and in-person Books & Bricks Nights.

For now, this page is just a placeholder for the Bochord House domains. Perhaps one day there will be more.

 
 

Black Riders recognizes and acknowledges that we are sustained by the land upon which we reside and work, known as ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan) and also as Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, land that is the traditional and contemporary territory for the people of many First Nations including the nêhiyaw (Nay-hee-yow) / Cree, Dene (Deh-neyh), Anishinaabe (Ah-nish-in-ah-bay) / Saulteaux (So-toe), Nakota Isga (Na-koh-tah ee-ska) / Nakota Sioux (Na-koh-tah sue), Niitsitapi (Nit-si-tahp-ee) / Blackfoot, Inuit, and Métis peoples, land that we recognise as Treaty 6 Territory and part of Regions 9 and 10 of the Métis Nations of Alberta.
